Electrics charge - PunPun M.202

Electrics charge Lab

Group : Ta, Pun Pun, Reina ,Ya-Faek , Nut, Thames

1. Infer Why did you rub the balloon on your sweater? Predict what might have happened if you simply touched the balloon to your sweater instead of rubbing it.

Ans. When one object is rubbed against another, static electricity can be created. This is because the rubbing creates a negative charge that is carried by electrons. If you touched the balloon to your sweater instead of rubbing it, the friction will not create .The charge will not create. There aren't  any charge to transfer.

2. Key Concept Why do you think the balloon interacted the way it did with your sweater and with the stream of water?

Ans.  Because the charge is not equal. It need to make a contact to be balance by itself (equivalent).

Make ice-cream in Plastic bag -PunPun M.2/202

1)  why do we add salt to the ice?

 - Salt mixed with ice in this case also causes the ice to melt. When salt comes into contact with ice, the freezing point of the ice is lowered. Water will normally freeze at 32 degrees F. A 10% salt solution freezes at 20 degrees F, and a 20% solution freezes at 2 degrees F. By lowering the temperature at which ice is frozen, we are able to create an environment in which the milk mixture can freeze at a temperature below 32 degrees F into ice cream.

2)   why do we add the cookies and other things, only after the milk has frozen slightly

- To make it easily mixed together.

3)  what are two factors that affect the freezing you think?

 - ice and salt.

4)  why do you need a bit of air in the bag?

- We need air to have the space to make the milk touch the ice.

The Stony Lab question

7.Calculate the density of each of your mineral samples. How could you use the densities to identify the minerals?Ans.Density can be measured with the structure of the minerals. Different minerals will have different density.

8.Would density or color be more useful in identifying a particular mineral? Explain your answer.
Ans.   color because we can identify the mineral by our eye, I think It's the easiest way to identify the mineral.

The impact of society on environment. -PunPun M.2/202

The impact of society on the environment.

Image result for acid rain
Acid rain has many ecological effects to the environment. Acid rain makes the water on earth change to Acidic and when the water change to Acidic the fish that have a habitat in that area will die.Acid rain absorbs the aluminium that makes its way from soil into lakes and streams.Acid rain also damages the building and make the tree die.

Image result for nuclear effects on the environment
Nuclear energy has one of the lowest impacts on the environment of any energy source because it does not emit air pollution, isolates its waste from the environment and requires a relatively small amount of land. Nuclear energy stations do not produce air pollutants or greenhouse gases when they generate electricity.

Image result for oil impact on environment
Oil is used to make the petroleum products we use to fuel air planes, cars, and trucks; to heat homes; and to make products such as medicines and plastics. Although petroleum products make life easier, finding, producing, and moving crude oil may have negative effects on the environment. Technological advances in exploration, production, and transportation of oil and enforcement of safety and environmental laws and regulations help to avoid and reduce these effects.

Food Chain

food chain show that what is eaten by what.  Each arrow means "eaten by"
Food chains begin with plant-life, and end with animal-life. Some animals eat plants, some animals eat other animals. A simple food chain could start with grass, which is eaten by rabbits.
